Client: Nike Philippines | Jordan Manila
Project: Hyperlocal custom t-shirt graphics for Jordan Brand apparel
Together with some other amazing artists, Nike Philippines invited me to create hyperlocal t-shirts for the launch of Jordan Manila--the first-ever Jordan Store in South East Asia. The goal was to create an in-store experience where fans could customize t-shirts based on several designs that intersect Manila, basketball, and the love for Michael Jordan.

As a huge Jordan fan since the 1980s, it was such an honor to be part of this gargantuan project. These first set of designs are inspired by handmade Jeepney signs common in the streets of Manila. There are elements that also come from the flag of the Philippines, like the 3-stars and triangle.

When presenting designs to Nike, I created around 20 concepts for them to choose from. Really thought the jeepney was a fun concept that could be expanded to showcase the other retro Jordan sneakers.
